Health: We improve the health of critically underserved communities through health, education and the delivery of high quality, compassionate healthcare.
 

Education: We empower disadvantaged adults and youth to become productive members of society through basic educational assistance, vocational and technology training, mentoring, teaching, and arts and sports programs.
 

Children: We give children hope for a productive and fulfilling future by providing healthcare, education, opportunities for development, mentoring, counseling, foster care and adoption.

Employment: We create opportunities for the newly trained and for the disadvantaged to find sustainable employment to support themselves and their families.

Seniors: We help seniors age with dignity, respect and security by providing them with friendship and by meeting their personal needs through senior centers and home visits.
 

Disaster Relief: Bangladesh has been ravaged by various disasters like the Flood, Cyclone, Tornado and also under threat by the Tsunami, Earthquake and Sea Level Eruption in the last decade. There have been innumerable lives lost and families separated because of the disasters. Millions of dollars worth of livelihood and equipment destroyed in a single instant. A lingering fear and despair and disease haunts the place years after the event.  They are left with nothing to rebuild their lives.

The people in these areas suffer not only physical but also emotional distress as well. They have seen their families and neighbors, perhaps even heard them calling for help when they could do nothing. They are left with desperation, as they are expected to start over again with nothing in their hands.

HOPE worldwide, in their commitment to help serve the underprivileged, have not failed to be at the sides of those who have suffered and lived through tremendous pain. We have been on site in areas like Bangladesh to give immediate relief to the survivors after the disasters.

However, the most prevailing need in most of these places is not just relief work after the disaster but development. Sustained development is needed to educate the people, not just on how to overcome similar disasters, but to open new avenues for them. HOPE worldwide not only offers immediate relief to the survivors but also for as much as it is possible, stays back at the site to help the residents rebuild their lives from the pieces long after other non-profit organizations have left. We want to let them know that there is still hope and that they have not been left to face their fears by themselves.
